Departmental collaboration is the key element for a successful Industry.

A professional employee must understand all departments within an industry.

Departments are the entities industries form to organize member of stuff and simplify their goals.

Departments must be organized in a way that best serves their customers.

The 8 Key Departments every well-organized industry must have shown below:

1. Human Resources Department.

Purpose: Responsible for Employees Recruitment, Workplace Safety, Employees Relations, Employees Compensation and Benefits, Compliance with labor and employment laws, Employees Training and Development.

Employees background: Most commonly Social Sciences such as Psychology and Sociology.

2. The Finance Department.

Purpose: The finance department is responsible for the accounting, controlling, planning, organizing, auditing and producing financial statements for the industry.

Employees background: Most commonly Logistics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics.

3. The Information Technology Department.

4. The Supply Chain Management Department.

Purpose: Must handle the planning, monitoring, and execution of supply chain activities.
Is the management of the movement of goods and services internally and externally of an Industry.

Employees background: Most commonly Management, Economics, Engineering.

5. The Production & Quality Assurance Departments.

Purpose: The production departments turns raw material or other inputs into final products following a series of processes carried out in various production sections.
Quality assurance departments take responsibility for defining the procedures for achieving and improving consistent product quality.

Employees background: Most commonly various branches of Engineering (Electronics Mechanics, Control Systems, Automation, Electrical, Robotics etc.).

6. The Service Department.

Purpose: Responsible for troubleshooting all product failures and faults.

Employees background: Most commonly various branches of Engineering (Electronics Mechanics, Control Systems, Automation, Electrical, Robotics etc.).

7. Marketing Department.

Purpose: Promoting the Industry.

Employees background: Most commonly Marketing.

8. Sales Department.

Purpose: Developing, maintaining and Implementing the sell process for the industry.

Employees background: Most commonly Sales.
